Haha, and the wags doubted that I’d post a second strip!  But I did. I don’t have any real insights to add about this strip, so I’ll just write the phrase “Murry Purry Fresh and Furry” here in hopes that if I do that enough it will turn into a Google keyword.

Marzipan isn’t too common here in the States, but, basically, it’s a sweet pasty confection made of sugar and mashed almonds.  You can mold the paste into fanciful shapes, and, in European bakeries, it’s common to see little fruits and animals scuplted out of marzipan.  Honestly, I don’t think marzipan is that obscure these days and it’s not like knowing this fact is central to the joke or anything, but there’s always one person who has to throw a hissy fit when the comic mentions something that they’re not already familiar with because, I don’t know, using Google is haaaaaaaard. :C

Whoa, whoa, whoa! What’s this??? Can it be???? Is it really back? Yes, friends, it’s more Murry Purry Fresh and Furry, the comic that can be found on the Internet.  I know you all thought that I wasn’t coming back since, you know, I was gone for, what, four months? Well.

Anyhoo.

It was a very productive vacation and I certainly hope to have something to show for it soon.  But I am nothing if not cautious, so we’ll see.  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy more wacky horrible animal-person abomination shennanigans.  Oh, and we might get to see some more Cool Cat as well, because everyone loves Cool Cat.

Herr Gobbles is actually the Head of State of the country in which Failtown… is.  But isn’t Failtown in America, you ask. Yes. Yes, it is.  I am being satirical of politics. Or I would have been satirical if this was still the Bush years. Now that we’re in the Obama years, it’s just nonsensical. Okay, look, I just wanted to draw a nazi turkey, is that so bad? I’m not on trial here.

What? What’s this?  Can this be true? Yes, unfortunately, it looks like I am going to have to put Murry Pury Fresh and Furry on an indefinite hiatus.  Now before you all go “Pbbbbt, what’s with that Agouti asshole, thinking he can skimp out on giving us quality comic entertainment because he’s wasting time watching Youtube compilations of 80s cartoon openings or trying to identify that bit of gunk that he just found between his teeth or masturbating.”  But not this time, my friends!  This time Agouti has a good reason for abandoning his fans mid-stream.  See, I’m actually going to be working on an actual comic that may just possibly maybe perhaps being appearing on PAPER PAGES and then possibly be available for BUY PURCHASE in exchange for CASH MONEYS in a STORE SHOP BOUTIQUE near you!  MPFF will return to its regular schedule later this summer, but until then you can console yourself with the knowledge that I’m hard at work making something totally nifty just for you guys!  I may occasionally post some stand-alone strips or guest art when I can, so, uh, yeah, watch this space!
